WAXING

  • Avoid extreme heat for 24 hours. This includes very hot baths/showers, steam rooms, sauna's and jacuzzi's.

  • Avoid exposure to UV light for 24 hours, including sun beds and sunbathing, must be avoided for 24 hours following treatment, as burning can occur.

  • Avoid deodorant, fake tan, anything perfumed should not be applied to the area for 24-48 hours.

  • Avoid make-up following facial waxing, although mineral make-up is fine.

  • Avoid tight clothing following any wax treatment for 24 hours.

  • Dry brush the area that has been waxed a couple of times a week.  Get a brush made from wood and soft bristle.  Do this before you bath or shower.  Post shower/bath apply baby oil or E45 cream.

EYELASHES

All eye treatments require a patch test at least 48 hours prior to treatment.

  • Keep visits to a sauna, steam room and swimming pool to a minimum and not at all during the next 48 hrs. Be very gentle with your eyelashes.

  • Do not touch your eyelashes or get them wet for the first 24 hrs to allow time for the adhesive to completely dry. After this time, only brush very gently upwards with the lash brush/comb that your therapist will have provided you with.

  • Avoid hot steam from the shower for the first 48 hrs (cool quick showers or baths).

  • Do not rub your eyes excessively.

  • Use only oil free make up remover around the eye area as recommended by your therapist.

  • To cleanse the lashes use the special lash and brow cleanser. Mix the water in the palm of your hand or in a foaming bottle and apply gently with a cleanser wand or brush.
